Boats > Boat Manufacturers
Four very different boats – but they are all built on the same 18-foot-six-inch hull. Each an individual in its own right, the new boats are the 191 Dual Console, the 191 Side Console, the 191 Walk Thru and the 191 Fish & Ski. "If these boats could talk, they would ask you to find a detail, any detail, that was overlooked," says Jay Hood, president of Triumph Boats. “There’s more storage in these boats than in many bigger crafts, and they are tough, durable and safe. We hit our hulls with a sledgehammer and they bounce back into shape because they’re made using the Roplene® process which, unlike fiberglass, has a memory and returns to its original shape.”
Each and every Triumph hull is formed as a single seamless unit - incorporating gunwales, side liners and stringers. The advantages? A stronger, more durable boat with double wall construction and absolute structural integrity. The computer-controlled process ensures consistency in every boat build. What you see on the surface is what you get all the way through - no gel coat or paint to spider crack, scratch or wear through. No laminates to separate. No adhesives to fail. No wood to rot. Just unyielding strength. The automotive grade polymer absorbs energy when you hit a wave or a dock, giving you an incredibly soft and quiet ride and taking the worry out of close quarter docking situations. Molded-in anchor points for cleats and screws, transoms and hull reinforced with high-density foam and stainless steel re-bar combine to create the safest, most durable boat you will ever own.
The forward configuration on the Dual Console and Walk Thru models is much the same except that the windscreen on the Walk Thru opens, making it into a bowrider. All the boats have three large, under-floor, forward storage compartments and side storage in the bow. There are two 33-gallon aerated livewells with a Flow-Rite control system, light, timer and remote drain built into the transom. All models have a kicker motor mounting point and fuel connection. In addition, each boat has an advanced fuel system with safety reserve and kicker motor fuel pick-up and cut-off valve standard – which is usually an option on other boats.
The boats jump onto plane in three seconds, and they are speedy! The top speed with a 150 hp engine is approximately 47 mph; cruising speed is approximately 35 mph.
All the boats have accessory wiring for a bow-mounted fish finder; port and starboard gunwale cargo net storage areas; and a trolling motor panel with battery condition gauge, trim switch, battery switch, and a 12/24 volt trolling motor plug and receptacle.
